I want to believe that there are enough Republicans in Congress who don't agree with this kind of discrimination to make sure this bill doesn't pass.
I feel extremely uneasy knowing that I don't actually know if Trump would veto this bill or not. With Obama, there would never be a doubt in my mind; that kind of certainty is placed inside of you when the president doesn't win an election based on divisiveness, bigotry, racism, sexism, and xenophobia.
Where are all those gays for trump? Once he signs this, things will go downhill hard for all of us in the community. Sad. To think people ACTUALLY believed that he was the most LGBT friendly president in history.
don't exagerate, it will let people express different views, we need to be accepting
Everyone has a right to their own views and thoughts but the minute that these views start affecting the treatment and discrimination of other people, thats where the line needs to be drawn.
Republi****s are literally too stupid to fix the economy so they focus on passing gay hate legislation. Otherwise they would have to use their brains (which they don't have) and pass legislation that focuses on improving economic sector (which they would never do). THAT is what we need to be focusing on but instead we get a bill that makes sure Cathy-Ann can spit on gays for being in her restaurant. Pathetic.
