^ Same. When I heard it on the radio for the first time I was like....why is there some woman screaming in the song saying YEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHH. Like it adds nothing to the song
I remember the first time I heard the Black Widow edit on the radio. I was so confused and thought one of the hosts was doing it and was like "damn girl calm down"
The one that stands out to me is the radio edit of Nicki Minaj's "Starships".
They edit out "My name is Onika, you can call me Nicki". They reverse "my name is onika" so it's inaudible, and play "you can call me Nicki" normally. It's a mess.
I think it's because they were worried that people would think she was saying the N-word.
