Okay, discounted Confident and discounted Cool for the Summer sold more than these Ariana singles doesn't mean Ariana is also a good seller. My fave sells albums well as much as I don't want to bring up her streams to embarrass Demi, who is also my fave.

One Last Time was a fifth single and still outstreams Demi's discography on Spotify.
Into You outstreams Demi's discography on Spotify by a large margin.
Focus outviews Demi's discography on Vevo by a large margin.
Side To Side is in the middle of its run and still outstreams (and will outview in two weeks) Demi's discography.
Baby I and Right There were obviously flops, but Ariana hadn't even broke through yet.

Let's talk about how Dangerous Woman never got a discount and still outsold, outviewed, and outstreamed both Cool For The Summer and Confident and outpeaked Demi's discography.

no. she is successful because she makes great pop music, is extremely likeable and has a great team behind her. PLUS: revival is such a real album, she always shows herself as a real person and her whispering signature songs is more appealing to radio stations than demi's high notes.

i always find it funny how some of you guys want to discredit selena's success all the time because it in fact would be weird IF she wasn't successful. the girl just play it right almost everytime. her AMA speech was genius btw, she doesn't need no ****ing bieber, she's smart and a genuine true person.
