No, my grandmother is black and American Indian and my (biological) grandfather was white (Italian) and American Indian. My mom's obviously mixed and my dad's from St. Croix. I have two half white brothers, three of my first cousins (I hate that term) are black and Puerto Rican, and my extended family is a host of other mixed races. We're all pretty open and tolerant.

A really good friend of mine's dad might be. My friend told me his dad called my cousin the n-word after something went wrong one night. I told my friend that I didn't feel comfortable going over to his house anymore, but I still go over there.
There was another incident when I was in the same friend's dad's car. We were going to pick his son up. On the way there, he was talking to me about his son's girlfriend. At the time my friend and his girlfriend were constantly arguing no matter where they were. An argument occurred between the two at his house while I was there. His dad escorted his son's girlfriend outside. Anyway, he called his son's girlfriend the n-word while he was talking to me about the incident. I felt so ****ing uncomfortable in my skin. I never told my friend what his dad said.
