The Hillary Clinton camp are doing this because they are hoping to overthrow Donald Trump, and also de-legitimize the e-mails which have exposed them as being involved in a pedophilia cover-up. There are over 100 pieces of evidence for it now, and people are still discovering more every day. At this stage it's almost impossible for it NOT to be true. The elites are getting desperate imo, because this will ruin them if the general public finds out.

The emails are not made up, Wikileaks is a legit proven source, so much that the people involved have no denied the contents of the emails, but are trying to make people focus on whom leaked them. The connections between these people are not made up they are proven by public records and MSM articles, the pedophile and child trafficking indictments of the few scapegoats (Epstein, Silsby, Weiner, etc..) are not made up. I think at first some people thought it tied to voting machines but then realized they were referring to the e-mail leaks.

Disregarding the access hollywood leak against Trump and leaks of info on Trump's tax situation.

The point is to disregard the fact that the e-mails are VALID and expose DNC corruption, lies, rigging against Bernie sanders.

The point for liberals is to deflect from this truth and use hacking as another bargaining chip.

The contents of the e-mail might be overshadowed NOW but that's after the election.

In addition to Clinton being a bad candidate under 2 FBI probes during her campaign the e-mails exposed alot of corruption in the DNC and lies by Hillary.

They wanted the information to be false and it turned out true.

They can overshadow and downplay Trump's win as much as they want.

I almost welcome it.
If that is the coping mechanism that will help them deal with this then so be it.

They are holding on to the popular vote, the recount slipped out of their hands and if they want to believe that Russia and no other country has our information so be it.

I've read way more than my sanity should have endured about it and my opinion is that it's ********. Wikileaks can leak info that's true and false. We're talking about powerful entities here, all of whom are capable of forging stuff. Nobody is going to run a child sex ring out of a pizza place. That's what daycare centers are for.

And to answer slw, yes the Hilary campaign was a mess. She wasn't the best candidate the Democrats could have picked. They were blinded by their desire for the first woman president. Donald Trump is going to ruin the middle class. It's what happens when republicans run the show. They don't care about the poor or even anybody who isn't rich. Hence why only the richest are seeing tax cuts (aka the people who can afford to pay more taxes and still live lavishly) and the poor are going to pay more taxes (aka the people who can't afford to pay more and will see their standard of living fall even further)
