must be why ISIS, Boko Haram and other terrorist groups from the past were made... to cure the world, right?

Religion has existed since the dawn of humanity. There was no such thing as Islamic terrorism (or at least it was not as rampant as it is today) before the 1940's. Most terrorist acts before that were carried out by atheists. These "Islamic" terrorists exist mainly due to western provocation/foreign invasion (Boko Haram=British imperialism, Taliban/Al Qaeda=Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Hamas=Zionism, ISIS=US occupation of Iraq) and they are among the most non-religious of Muslims.

[f]ar from being religious zealots, a large number of those involved in terrorism do not practise their faith regularly. Many lack religious literacy and could actually be regarded as religious novices. Very few have been brought up in strongly religious households, and there is a higher than average proportion of converts. Some are involved in drug-taking, drinking alcohol and visiting prostitutes. MI5 says there is evidence that a well-established religious identity actually protects against violent radicalisation.
