Something completely different musically. I'm still pushing for an urban-rock album. But I want her to continue making visuals albums, maybe even a theatrical movie. Imagine her film debuting at Cannes or Sundance or something.

i expect that it will be a different project than Lemonade entirely just like every subsequent album has been different than its predecessor. she will continue to give us a fusion of different sounds & experiment in new ways sonically, aesthetically and vocally...while still keeping some of the Beyonce that we are familiar with while still sounding current & relevant. she will keep working with new talent...along with past collaborators

i was reading some of the ST reviews yesterday...and came across this & this is something that is so true

the fact that Beyonce has been so guarded has honestly worked in her favor...there's still much to uncover from her even after 20 years. so thats why when she does certain things that should be miniscule...it gets a huge reaction vs when others may do something similar. b/c its not what people expect from beyonce. so all it takes is for her to peel more layers of herself along with the music & the critical acclaim will continue.

I think she should make an actual short film, with actors and dialogue. And maybe have the album as a standalone soundtrack.

I really wouldn't mind this, it would be different, but still keep the essence of the visual direction

IASF deserved its AOTY nom...only in retrospect can it be frowned upon b/c what came after that album was soooo much better. but for that whole era in time....IASF definitely deserved to be recognized for AOTY status & all the other nominations she got that year too. while i do think IASF is her weakest...i dont think its as nearly as bad as ppl want to trash it...there are many gems & highlights of her discography found on that album. most of it seems revisionist IMO...b/c i don't remember a whole lot of negativity about IASF in 2008-2009 like these days.

IASF really had the 'of the Year' part of that award down, just because it was such a commercial monster in terms of its singles. Self Titled and Lemonade are the better albums, but IASF's singles really dominated.

No Angel is probably her most underrated song ever. The bridge and bassline >>>

Musically, she could literally do anything. It's safe to say she's still going to release sth somewhat RnB-ish, but there are thousands of ways to incorporate RnB with other genres. I could totally see her recording something Funk-inspired again. I think B7 is going to be more fun than BEYONCE and Lemonade and not as serious in its essence, but we'll have to see.

I don't even know what to expect.

I thought Lemonade would be like a modern version of A Seat at the Table for the longest time. I thought the themes would be the same, but that the production would be more organic, contemporary electronic R&B, like No Angel's production. And then she did none of that and served her most diverse album yet.

I think it'll be more pop again. I'd like a traditional rollout this time I think. Either that, or I want it to be the soundtrack to an actual film with a plot, script, big budget, etc. It's the only way realistically I can see her going further down the visual route. And she would keep the soundtrack off sale until the movie premieres or something, idk. Maybe the first single video or scene drops a month or so before.

Tbh I want her to drop a pure poetry "album". Just spoken words, no sung music. Her voice in Lemonade was just

But musically I want a full rock album or something more longish and sensual full of DiLs, Dance for Yous, Mines, etc.
