IMO the blame mostly falls on the Comcast workers. There's a small hill down the road so you can't easily see the road ahead. Drivers, after going over the hill, either panic or stay calm. Those who stay calm will brake slowly and maybe they'll still slide, but it's not that likely. Those who panic will definitely lock their brakes and fail to slow down and slide off. There needs to be cones before the hill.

That said, the wreck was 99% the truck's fault. If the guy didn't panic then he wouldn't have locked his brakes and probably would have not run into that car. Good thing the car seems to have suffered little to no damage.

This was deeply infuriating to watch. Why did I watch it all?

Whew I would sue tf out of Comcast. And they were being such assholes about it -- how are you calmly applying general good weather rules to road conditions like that with that kind of scene developing around you? Acting oblivious to 3/4 cars running off the road and then an accident dead in their faces like, WHO does that?

The reason they were out there in the first place was because someone slid into a Comcast box and took out service. People point this out to claim that Comcast isn't at fault. But I'm sorry, NO. That has nothing to do with this video. All these slideoffs wouldn't be occurring in the same area, they would be more spread apart if they happened naturally. Comcast obviously didn't give enough warning.

Yeah they're getting sued.
