We're vulnerable, we're sensitiveAnd we're complicated people too
So many people rolled into one
 We contain so much
 So much creativity
 So much energy
 So many contradictions
 So much confusion
 So much clarity
So many moments of faith and fear
So many different characters live within us
 All looking for love

This is better than any lyrics on 50 YO or Discappointment    |

I like the LYDLM outro. I think the worst is after I Want You when she says she "always loved music."   |

She and her siblings made up songs to which they did their chores and harmonized while they all did their part. Heck, they must have danced and sang their way through most anything!  |

The worst on DJ for me is Thinkin Bout My Ex. Good placement in the tracklist though because it is the only song on the album that could actually make me look forward to enduring Warmth and Moist.   |

 | Sure, but so does everybody . It's just... so obvious that it's a waste of space and she sounds stupid saying it.

Wow, those almost sound like lyrics. You should be a ghost writer.    |

What a disappointment for a collaboration between Janet and Babyface. Things don't pick back up for me until SloLove. The confusion lifts, indeed.  |

 Damita Jooooooooooooooo.......Thank you!
It's not bad only because it's funny as hell and it's from the Damita Jo song so I get it.

For me, "Magic Hour" and "The One" are the best interludes. I just wish that Truly and The One came right before Just a Little While. That would've been the perfect closer.

And Thinkin' Bout My Ex is on point! I like her vulnerable side when she sings.

I'd rather have Could This Be Love on Damita Jo than Thinkin Bout My Ex.
I was kind of disappointed as well, because I've always wanted Janet and Babyface to work together. And that's the best he could do? No.

Between LYDLM, TBME, Warmth, Moist, and Truly, Moist is just the setback by a little, but I think the quality all the way through is great. I don't know about Strawberry Bounce though. Not my fav....  |

 | I agree re: Could This Be Love. AND Put Your Hands Up. How that groove was left on the cutting room floor...

Not my fav.... | It is a strong album. And I love that this Base generally agrees on it being superior to All For You as a whole effort. Imagine the best of those two put together. All For You's dynamite singles and edgier tracks, Damita Jo's colorful-yet-mellow R&B palette, baby you got a stew goin'!!  |

I have such mixed feelings about You Ain't Right, especially starting off the album. At first listen, I'm like "Janet, what the hell is this?!", then later I got used to it, but idk....   |

The vocal production is tragic, which is especially apparent when listening to that remix that does away with the awful layering that makes the original version unintelligible. Jam and Lewis are her best collaborators, but they also ruined some **** on occasion.

Perfect example. Honey, Fantasy, and Obsessed (Mariah). Hardly sound like the overall quality of the album, but we still love it, and they're BOPS. Dammn Baby is the same.

Yall must be 40 years or older.

DAMMN BABY >> that mess she released in 2006.  |
