Of course she can do whatever she wants 'cause it's her child but I do not agree with this at all. The child is not your husband and you should not treat it like that. You can still love your child very very much and not kiss him on the mouth. The parental kiss is on the forehead. You can kiss your child on the cheek and on forehead. You don't need to turn the kiss into something erotic like you do with your husband/boyfriend. It might be just my opinion considering all the ones above me agree with her.

Actually, that's something you're doing - not her.

A kiss is not inherently erotic/sexual in nature and it highly depends on the context. Sure a kiss on the mouth may be uncommon but if it's between a parent and the child then there's no sexual subtext to it, and if you think there is then that's on you.
