Her best album

I woke up to my mentions on twitter being flooded telling me to wake, missed calls and WhatsApp messages it was so overwhelming, I panicked and bought it straight away. What a week that was.

I remember I was watching the news that morning and they said that Bey surprise released a full album with a video for every song I was shook, but I wasn't able to listen to the full album until my mom bought the cd in March. She loves XO.

I was up late just surfing the web and then all these alerts started popping up and I was so shocked, I was not expecting new material!

Haunted, XO, Jealous and Heaven..... I also love Yonce,Partition and Flawless.

You can tell she was coming for blood with this album. Everything about it was perfect.

I still remember being on Amazon MP3 (Amazon Music now?) around two in the morning and running over to iTunes to do a price comparison on Arctic Monkeys' AM. I saw a big ass BEYONCÉ banner on iTunes and forgot about AM's AM until some weeks later.

A CULTURAL MOMENT.

I received a text, immediately headed to Itunes, and made the purchase without thinking. It was overwhelming.

I remember waking up to go to uni and turned on the radio and hearing Beyoncé had just released her new album. I ran to iTunes, saw she had every banner and bought it. AMAZING.

She got me with that digital drop.

I remember my ex texting me that day, waking me up with the message "I think somebody special just gifted you with your christmas present earlier than you expected. Beyonce released her new album on Itunes."

I thought he was joking so I went back to sleep. However, I couldn't really sleep. So I opened google and typed in "Beyonce" and then I saw all the articles and that was it. I skipped uni that day and the day after, cried several times because I couldn't handle the shock.
Probably the best day ever as a stan! You cannot imagine how it felt for the Hive unless you are a Hive member. I'm still shook.

I remember waking up and seeing twitter explode, and then they talked about it on the news. I was just a casual fan back then, but I was so hyped I ran for my dad's credit card and bought it on iTunes. To this day it's the only album I've ever purchased digitally.
