I’ve been speaking to some guy called James on Tinder. He moved from Australia a while ago and we just hit it off instantly. Sadly he’s not MC’s ex otherwise I’d have no problem with him bailing on me as long as I got a pay cheque at the end of the ordeal.

So, we’ve been speaking for a while and finally decided to go out tonight (arranged it last week). So yesterday I asked him what his plan is for tomorrow which is today now. He told me that he had a few errands to run and then he’s meeting his friends to go out drinking tonight.

Umm James, we were supposed to go out tonight to get a few drinks and some food.



I don’t even know what to say. Should I remind him? Or see if he remembers? I find it quite amusing actually. But then my last actual relationship followed a pattern where I was bailed on multiple times. Maybe I'm just not memorable . Or maybe I should jump ship before the same thing happens again

Darling, don't tell me. I went out with this guy (Stefano) in May, only once, but got nothing out of it. So I started dating another guy, and Stefano started to act desperate, saying stuff like "you need to leave him and come back to me, I'll introduce you to my family, I'll go on vacation with you all the time, I'll love you so much" etc and I was showing all my friends the **** he'd text me
Then, in September I broke up, and he found out. He started talking to me obsessively again and each Sunday he'd ask me if I wanted to go out the next Saturday and I was like, maybe. Then each Saturday morning he reminded me that we had a date and I was like, oh sorry I must've forgotten this went on for 9 straight weeks, then he gave up.
And that's because I wasn't interested. Maybe your date feels like me about Stefano

You shoulda said "I thought we were going out tonight," or asked him yesterday "So are we still hanging out tomorrow?"

Oh ok, well in that case just ask him if he remembered that you had planned a date. Don't overcomplicate things sis and if he doesn't cancel his plans to go on the date, don't bother with him.

Remind him. Us Australians are laid back AF. He literally probably forgot. If not, kick his ass back here and then I'll kick it to the moon.
