Eyes Open was released the same year as Taylor's song with the highest first week sales (WANEGBT) yet Today With a Fairytale still sold way more

1) the climate was much worse in 2012... the climate in 2010-2012 literally dropped 50%
2) it had a whole week radio deal, spun every hour... for an entire week.
3) it was hyped up and not surprise released.
4) it was performed live at the grammys
5) it was after fearless ... like it was literally released right after she won AOTY.
6) Also wasn't released during winter freeze.

Well, she is this year and they call her a flop. Even if TS6 would outsell everyone's albums again within two months in 2017, she'd be called a flop if it's below 3.7 million (which 1989 did at the end of 2014).
