Honestly, the people that peddle this argument must be mathematically challenged. Further, who the **** cares? If the plurality of Americans want Candidate A, then Candidate A should be elected. Where they live shouldn't ****ing matter. One person, one vote. It's that damn simple.
"Oh, but we have to make sure all the states interests are represented!!!" That is what the Senate is for, alongside state government to attend to state-specific needs. The President's role—as commander and chief—is to keep the country safe and that's not a state-issue.
