Unfortunately, Hillary lost because Trump's team played the electoral college game better than her team did plain and simple. Hillary should have spent more time in the rust belt and she would have won regardless of Russian interference.

Considering the polls showed that the rust belt was secure for her aside from Ohio and that Florida was where she was slipping, her decisions made perfect sense.

What are you talking about...Hillary piled up all her popular vote totals from California, Illinois, and New York. Without the electoral college Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City would decide elections every year. That wouldn't be fair either.

I'm still not sure what yall mean when you say this.

They have bigger populations...which means more votes...how does that decide the election "unfairly"? Get rid of the electoral college and you'll see more people vote because their vote (especially if they're in a non-swing state) would matter. No person's vote would weigh more than another person's vote.

Honestly, the people that peddle this argument must be mathematically challenged. Further, who the **** cares? If the plurality of Americans want Candidate A, then Candidate A should be elected. Where they live shouldn't ****ing matter. One person, one vote. It's that damn simple.

"Oh, but we have to make sure all the states interests are represented!!!" That is what the Senate is for, alongside state government to attend to state-specific needs. The President's role—as commander and chief—is to keep the country safe and that's not a state-issue.
