About the GG: super happy for Hailee! Surprised at the Nocturnal Animals + Hacksaw Ridge love and the Silence snub. Great to see Octavia too! Maybe she'll pull through at the Oscars. I also thought Taraji was going to be nominated, not Jessica (but I'm so happy for her ). Nice to see Lily Collins too.

These movies are screened to critics well before release.

HFPA is roughly 90 people so they see everything, even if it's not released yet. Special screenings etc. etc.
