No, the Sag and Bafta and esp Globe seemed easier for Emma.
Also more meaningful, given the bfca's poor track record in the last 10 years with this category.

No this one was the easiest, after that it is the Globe. Stars couldn't have aligned better for her this weekend, after Jackie's "flop" last week and this week La La Land breaking the best PTA record for the year and outgrossing TGBH, everything seemed to be perfect, until it wasn't.
In the last 10 years:
Critics' Choice 6/10 (+ Kate Winslet for The Reader)
SAG 7/10 (+ Kate Winslet for the Reader)
BAFTA 8/10
They are not that far behind, and considering they had no problem showering La La Land with 8 trophies, I think it is telling they didn't award the coveted Lead Actress.

And where did I say she was not going to win the Globe?
But I understand both of you very well, I woke up ready to use these lame excuses too, thinking they wouldn't wanna miss the chance to award the Best Picture frontrunner's Lead Actress, but guess what? They did. Natalie is not going anywhere without a fight.
