I agree with all of this. They are way too manufactured, but not in a good way like Katy Perry where kids latch onto them. And not in a good way like Rihanna where she's manufactured to be "a real artist" when she's just as generic as Katy Perry. Fifth Harmony is manufactured in the most negative, blatant way. Look at how they were manufactured on "X-Factor"—they wore nothing but frilly, cotton candy, "I'm a pre-teen princess" outfits with giant bows on their heads, and a year later all of a sudden they are twerking, hip shaking street walkers? It's
very weird. I think Demi Lovato has the same negative manufactured problem. Believe it or not, there's an art to being manufactured the right way for audiences.
