Major recordlabels in general suck. The rosters get bigger and bigger, the revenue gets smaller and smaller, budgets get cut etc. Same happens at Interscope, Epic, Warner and other labels/
Avril was supposed to release her 4th album in September 2009. It came out March 2011. They held her album at ransom. Avril could have released the WORST single ever in 2009, and it would have been a hit following the mega success of her multi-platinum album The Best Damn Thing. They waited until 2011 when Avril's last single was released at the end of 2007.
Goodbye Lullaby was a great album - actually one of her best. She had content to release in 2009, and it would have pleased her fanbase. If it flopped, she could have gone mainstream again for 2011, and she would have kept her fans engaged. RCA ruined Avril's career.

Tinashe just doesn't connect with public, bad material.
Ke$ha is another case. She is also Kemosabe, not RCA. RCA is only her europe label.

And yet RCA allowed the careers of P!nk and Kelly Clarkson (two members of the "00's Trinity") to thrive. I can't.

I don't think it's ALL the label's ''fault'', some artists just don't work for the GP anymore
reach. The issue is that none of her songs get promo, the only song that didn't connect was superlove.
