My fave was raised by her mom when her alcoholic dad left them when she was just 3. She grew up in London's roughest neighbourhood where all minorities live and worked at her a cafe washing dishes from an early age to support her mom who had 2 jobs.
Wow reading some of these background stories are very inspiring. Rihanna, Madonna and Shania are some of the ones sticking out to me the most.
