I tend to find a lot of the gays complaining about the vanity of the culture will not face the realism that they cannot attain whoever they want. They want the guys who look like models like everybody else, only they can't get them like some. Which tends to lead to them complaining until they age beyond the point of most wanting them and they end up alone. If you realize this problem, you can help fight against this problem. I'm not saying gays need to settle with just anybody, but they are far too picky and need to realize this if they don't want to end up alone

While this is true to everyone and not just gays, I found that most of the gays I know are super generic. They all try to grow beards and become muscular just because that's the only way you're considered "attractive" in the gay world. With straight people, it's much easier to find people that look beyond that / have different perception of what's "sexy", whereas gays literally only find a guy with beard + muscles to be sexy. And I find that extremely superficial and shallow.
