If DNC enters a Latino and they flop points-wise, at least we'd be sure to give them a cushion of a couple million votes

Polls can be wrong. Data is often wrong. Shocks do happen. Nothing is certain in uncertain times. Bill Clinton knew this when he was warning about that Blue Wall (despite how safe it apparently was), and someone with Clinton's experience and team should have thought it too. I'm not blaming her for thinking it was at stake, I'm blaming for her for thinking it was absolutely secure. To not visit WI once is quite frankly laughable.

And yet, I was absolutely destroyed in here a couple of months back for making a comparison to Brexit and was told that US polls are far more accurate. It was this overconfidence that led to the Clinton campaign not having enthusiasm or fight.

Donald Trump to be fair to him, was making speech after speech and was flying all over the place trying to improve his chances in any state. He was laughed at when he was in MI and the likely path for him was trying to get NV+NH, yet it was ultimately him laughing at the end. Clinton instead, was too busy sending her surrogates all over the place. It didn't work. People don't care about Tim Kaine. People didn't care about Beyonce. People didn't care about Joe Biden saying he wanted to punch Trump. They (the ones who decided this election in that Blue Wall) wanted hope, energy, and someone would fight for them. And that wasn't Clinton.

I think the white working class vote was a lost cause for her, even more so than white women so I don't think her giving 3 or 4 of her lowkey rallies in each of the firewall states would have made much of a difference.

The WWC simply didn't want her and that's all there is to it. There was a Kosovo WWC immigrant CNN interviewed who said he'll vote for Trump while the Clintons are the reason there's such a thing as Kosovo now and they have a Bill statue in there and a big Hillary tribute clothing chain. She wasn't winning the WWC no matter what and y'all can blame her lack of 2 or 3 small rallies in those states for her loss but there's little evidence that they would have made much of a difference when the WWC voted out of spite.

White women in general preferred Romney when he veered to the right on women's issues late in the game and the Don in the end even though they were "The children!" "What kind of example are we setting?!"

I hope this teaches DNC that they're not on lock and sadly kind of a lost cause, we should focus on retaining as much of the minority vote/turn out and getting chunks of the working class back. Soccer moms just aren't that into Democrats. They already know our positions on female issues so if they want to join us, good, but we should focus more of our time on the other two groups mentioned.

But what about the other people in PA, WI, and MI? Millennials, women (who, should have been easier to win over), ethnic groups, undecided voters who didn't want to vote for either candidate?

We're talking about very small margins in these states. It wasn't impossible for her to win them. She just didn't rally enough people - and that is impossible when you're not going to them.

Women were not easier to win over. She literally dedicated all of her MI ads to what a vile pig Trump is and white women still went with ***** grabber.

Who does that leave? Minorities and millennials which already went to her anyway. If Obama needed the WWC to win those states with his huge appeal to minorities then she needed them too.

Truth is protest voters + voting out of spite ****ed her over in all predominantly white/rust belt states.

Like, she won half of the rust belt in the primary against WWC hero Bernie. Clearly Trump's character assassination resonated really well with certain groups.

Trying to stay positive so I'll say all this should motivate me, I've been meaning to bulk up for ages (my doctor agrees as well). With all the holiday eating and promotions maybe I should ask for a gym membership as a gift, gotta look nice for the tourists visiting SoCal

I mean we all knew it happened but just now its confirmed. It sucks they can easily manipulate and basically choose who they want and destroy the other one in favor of their fave. Its obvious they want the US to fall down with Trump.

Everyone needs to stop acting new about Russia. Of course they wanted him to win. The evidence has been there for years. The signs have been building for longer. The highest profits for Trump's assets has been in Russia. Russia wants the return of the Soviet Union. They will expand again just like Crimea. Not if, but when. They know Trump will do nothing. They know the Republicans will do nothing under Trump. A morally bankrupt psychopath conned the Rust Belt into winning a system that should have been eliminated in 2004.

Russia will take advantage and there's nothing we can do.

What pundits are saying is their actions helped create a climate that hurt Clinton to help Trump.
