Karmin #2 in 2016 ddd. Brokenhearted is definitely their best song
twenty one pilots should be above DNCE Ride is in their Top 5
The Chainsmokers get too much hate but I don't think any of their songs except Closer are that good
Geez, y'all are quite a tough crowd to please this year

Uhhh their album was amazing so why wouldn't they be here?
Bye, Closer is the weakest of the 3 singles they put this year and the whole Bouquet EP is also superior.

Slay that taste
I experienced my first live comedy show this year and I saw 2 more after moving to Nevada, so I thought it'd be a cute idea to make this a new category for my Best Of. I'm sure most won't care about iT but oh well, here's my favorite stand-up show of the year.
Wayne Brady Venue: Las Vegas, NV @ The Mirage Date: October 15th, 2016
I've known about Wayne Brady for years from seeing bits and pieces of the hilarious improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, and after I was told we were going to see him live, I was extremely excited. I thought he was just simply going to tell stories in front of a crowd like many other comedians do, but the show was all improv as well. There was also tons of audience participation (which had me lowkey shook, but luckily I wasn't chosen) and seeing people being forced to awkwardly do funny things often had me in tears. Wayne had a little sidekick up on stage with him, Johnathan Mangum, and their creative minds blurting out all these outrageous jokes was beyond entertaining. He also had part of the show dedicated to live song parodies and his voice was amazing, the amount of talent he has is truly unbelievable. If you're ever in Vegas, please make sure you get tickets.
The other two I saw: 2. Bill Engvall
[Coral Springs, FL @ Coral Springs Center For The Arts] 3. Wanda Sykes
[Las Vegas, NV @ Treasure Island]
I'm glad TOP got the chance to smash this year especially when not so many new artists could do it.
The Chainsmokers gave us two great hits this year but DLMD is lowkey trash imo so I'm not sure. We'll see if they can stick around.

To wrap things up, it's time for another performance!
We've known one of the members in this group for years - first in a Disney band with his brothers, then as an unsuccessful solo artist, and now he's back in the spotlight with a brand new crew. Their first single immediately rushed them into relevancy as it was a huge hit, and that's just the beginning for them. They've also appeared on 3 of my lists so far (Best Newcomers, Best Bands + Groups, Best Songs #90-81) with more appearances still to come. Performing the song that started it all, this is...
