I can't begin to tell you how good Jennifer Lopez is in Shades of Blue. That’s me, Jennifer and her mom, who is also a character on the show, in this photo. Not only does Jen sing and dance, but the girl can act. I put her up there with all the pros I've worked with. She knows the story and the days work to the point that I turn to her when I forget a line. I'm not a big fan of actors telling actors any information. That is the director's job, but Jen and I have a bond, the common denominator is the people we play. We bring and put that relationship foremost, hence the freedom we have with work. My favorite scenes are with "Woz" and "Harlee”. And yes to all the people who ask if she is as beautiful in person as she is on screen. She's a close second to my girl Silvia.
