I'm debating with my friend on this. They think that even though the server has a terrible attitude and do an awful job you still need to tip. Keep in mind, my biscuit headed friend has never worked a day in her life and has only ever received handouts, so I'm not surprised Anyhoo! Do you agrih with ha?
If you give me an attitude, rush me when I'm ordering or display any type of rudeness, I'm keeping my coins. #Sorry
Unless the service is really bad, I would say you should tip. Servers rely on tips to make a living..BUT it's not "required" at all. Even if the service is great, you don't have to tip. That just makes you a douche, though.
A better question is -- are you required to tip delivery drivers?
'Cus, my mom loves to do like 20% when they literally drive 2 miles to deliver the food and already get a delivery charge...
Personally, I always tip them because they're using their own car + gas, so I don't mind helping them out
But it WILL go out the window if you BANG on my door like you crazy an hour after my Pizza app told me you left the store, and have the nerve to shove a cold pizza in my face talmbout some "here $16.55" Sorry bout your college tuition, Craig!
well in the united states i hear they get like $2 an hour so i would say yes. but in canada all my server friends only make like 50 cents below the minimum wage so i kind of have a problem with their entitlement. i still tip at least 15% in every case tho. but it kind of annoys me
