There's a rape scene where Brando's character uses butter as a lubricant. The issue is:
1. The scene wasn't in the script, so she didn't know about it before she signed on for the movie.
2. They told her about the scene on set, right before they shot it, and bullied her into agreeing to it.

The director's account is that the scene was in the script, but the use of the butter wasn't.
