Exactly. It was mainly made for public
reawareness of Pokemon's existence and legacy. Aside from being a game itself, it also served as an advertisement of something bigger that was to come, which were the main games that came out just last month - Pokemon Sun & Moon. Now it's reaping what it has sown and, quite frankly, The Pokemon Company is bigger than ever. Their marketing strategy is top-notch
