Her grandmother wasn't of Mexican descent, she was actually born Mexico (If that's the same thing, feel free to correct me because I thought if you were of ____ descent it meant that you were born in the US, but had Mexican or etc in your bloodline) and Fergie herself was born in Hacienda Heights which is 40% Hispanic and Latino
Just because a lot of people associate ghetto with black people doesn't mean they're the only one's who make a up a ghetto. There's just as many Latinos or Hispanics occupying ghettos as black people. The word ghetto is simply being reclaimed
