As you can see, Adele is the only act with more then one year-end #1 positions, three in total.

Taylor Swift has been incredibly consistent, appearing in five of these Top 5 lists.

If Adele releases one more album before the end of 2019, she will very likely take home the Artist of the Decade award. Otherwise Taylor will take it, especially if her next album smashes like "1989".

But of course.

Since we won't get a new full album for a few years she needs to release an xmas album in 2017.
If so, the game is hers with #2 in far distance

She also becomes the first artist to top the chart in 3 different years since the chart started in 1981.

Yeah Taylor will probably be Artist of the decade because she has more albums and eras this decade than Adele
Hopefully Adele releases another album around 2018-2019 so she can have more chances.

Oh wow Beyonce has only appeared twice and neither were the top for the year. Seems kinda at odds with what the media would suggest.

it's either Taylor/Rihanna/Beyonce

it depends. if Adele is going on a 5 year break then Taylor will easily beat her. But there is no third competitor in reality.

Hopefully, she will release 29 in 2018 and queen will end up having the three best-selling albums of the decade (well, if 29 smashes as hard as 25).
