No. It's interesting how you guys turn a simple question around and just label me disgusting. why not allow some criticism? why not ask questions when you think something isn't correct?
She says she has chronic pain but has no trouble walking on that catwalk and doing dance moves like a popstar. Not only that, she also says she has a very serious mental problem. Do you even know what PTSD is? Do you know what happens when you have it? You can't do your job, you can't leave your house. Sometimes people who have this get serious mental problems that never end and can't even function properly their whole lives. This happens to people who have been through very traumatic events. They even have problems eating properly sometimes or using their brain. of course it depends on how bad it is, but even in the first stage this is a very serious thing. Some people have to get into mental hospitals because it gets so bad. Do you even realize that? Even depression alone is a very serious thing where people stay in the house for months and sometimes kill themselves. A family member did that this year, and a friend of the family threw herself in front of a train because of it as well. my friend's mother had PTSD and she died a few years ago in the arms of her daughter who tried to rescue her. she was coughing blood. that daughter now has the same thing as her mother from watching her die because it was so terrible to see. so I know about this. And THAT is why I have doubts about what she's saying.
I've never liked her, but she's going too far now. Maybe she has a light case of depression, maybe a light case of being manic depressive. I can see all that because that's believable. It's hard to deal with it, but with medication and help, aside from a few truly horrible moments every week or month (it really depends for each and everyone) you can learn to live with that, give interviews, give a few shows. It's hard but it's doable in dozes. the reason Im being critical is because I know so many people who have been through what she's saying now. and seeing gaga compared to the people I know who went through this, I can only say that I have serious doubts about her sincerity

what is wrong with you people? ever heard of satire? or is it only allowed when your friends do it? and anyway, that was more than 2 years ago. you talk about obsessed but here you are keeping archives of every madonna fan. if I would keep track of every sick thing some people have said there, (some in this very same topic), a book could be written about it.

Seriously, give it up. You aren't "offering criticism", you are LOOKING for faults when she's talking about something serious. You can't act like you're an expert on this while suggesting that everyone who suffers from these things acts the same, that's so incredibly ignorant. you have a history of having an unhealthy concern with everything Gaga says or does, but this is a new low. People like you are the reason so many people are scared to seek help or treatment for mental issues, for fear of not being taken seriously or being "criticized" as you're doing with Gaga. Do you seriously not see how pathetic that is?
Thank God for people like Gaga using their platform to speak out about this stuff, to actually help people to not be afraid to seek help or speak out about what they're feeling due to people like you giving them "criticism" for it.

Archives? That's your most iconic moment on ATRL! And don't try to pass that off as satire when we all know it was anything but
If you want something more recent, let's talk about how you jumped into the thread about Gaga's Hilary speech to go on about how it was an example of her psychotic Madonna obsession despite the thread not having anything to do with her.
And please, stop trying to pass your comments off as criticism. Dabunique's post last page was criticism, posts where you go above and beyond to attack Gaga and call her an attention seeking flop like this...

I'm glad that you know more about her than herself. It's unbelievable. So you're suggesting that people with PTSD should never recover just to believe them? Everyone has their own way of experiencing things. Just because your friend can't get out of the house doesn't mean that Gaga can't. But I think you obviously need to do more research on this topic. LIKE SERIOUSLY.. Gaga is doing a lot of things to recover from the trauma.
What a big heart Gaga has and always had. Such an amazing talented girl that gives the world hope and courage. I have so much to learn from her. And about you, wanderlust, I don't even know what to say. Is there anything left to be said? A pity some of you need to be like this in times like this. I agree with the shading and everything. It's funny sometimes but this wasn't the right moment. And plus, to call her a liar just because she's a celebrity and needs those extra sales. She's given a voice and she's using it TO DO GOOD. KINDNESS! She's right. That's what a lot of us are missing.
I had depression and I'm still going through it what it left me with. I had moments when I didn't want to leave the house but I still did. And I still had depression every single day even though I went to school and everything. I went to school and suffered in silence every single motherfing day just because I was afraid. Imagine not wanting to go to school. My parents would ask a lot of questions and I was so afraid to tell anyone about what I was going through. I would cry at nights. I just became this person that could not be stopped, that is so strong but the truth was I was miserable, heartbroken and weak af. But I felt nobody understood me so I had to wear this mask everyday just so I protect myself every single moment because I was so fragile and sensible contrary to what I let others see. I did a lot of things just hoping I would get rid of the depression. I am not having depression anymore but I'm left with social phobia and every single day I experience the scars of the past years. I'm trying to find the strength in me every single day and I hope others do it as well and see that they are valuable. We need to be valuable to OURSELVES FIRST not to others. I pray every single day for those souls that felt and feel like me that they find the strength to continue their lifes and find beauty inside them and in what they have to offer to the world. I also pray for the lost souls that are filled with hate that maybe one day their hearts will become strong again and instead of hate they will spread the light in their souls.

This thread just became a sad place. How do you know she's making up these stories? She's talking about her having depression way before the Born This Way days. It's sad that you force yourselves to not believe her just because you are biased towards her because of your fave.

It is truly sad dat people don't believe ha, i'm included in dat, i jus don't believe her anymore like I used to. i keep thinkin its all an act, its a pity party, it hasn't anything to do with Madonna, i'm jus not feelin it anymore from ha
everything she does to me is fake, and i try to give ha da benefit of da doubt but my evil sixth sense tells me don't belive ha
i used to liek her alot but i guess da whole BTW mess jus did it for me
but goin back it is important dat these issues are talked about, regardless of who it comes out of and what intentions they may have
i guess instead of attacking GaGa and attacking da OGH, let's openly discuss da issue of chronic pain and depression, which in some cases go hand in hand
and liek i said, it isn't da first time she has discussed Chronic Pain, i just don't get da heels, and liek another poster said, she hadn't worn dem in a while biut i have seen multiple heels through out her trip in Europe
i'm jus sayin, GaGa lead by example, no one in their right mind would be doin stunts and shows if u in pain, maybe she wasn't in pain at da moment but trust da pain will come, thsoe shoes are deadly LOL

I don't get why some of you are so quick to discredit and not believe her? There is literally no reason to not believe her, and again, it's kinda contributing to the reason a lot of people with these issues are scared to open up about it.

I don't believe her either, and that has nothing to do with me being a Madonna fan. I used to be a fan of her until the BTW era when she started overdramatizing her life. Anorexia, lupus, rape victim, bisexual, depression, growing up being an outcast, her emotional pain from the loss of an aunt who died before she was even born and now PSTD... Everyone on atrl can freely drag Halsey's lies but if you say the same thing about Gaga you get reported...double standards

Really brave of her to speak out about it, and I'm sure it will help a lot of people going through the same thing. Sad to see a certain person here try to find something so negative in something Gaga is being brave about speaking up about, since she has such a powerful voice in this music industry, as do a lot of other artists in this industry. There is absolutely no way Gaga would "make" up any of this.
And the reference to her "flopping" album, which her album is doing perfectly fine, is just so ridiculous.

So ****ing ignorant, I can't even begin to explain. ESPECIALLY the part about Joanne. Do you guys realize how disgusting and pathetic it is to criticize someone for their own life, for things they go through and their hardships? Like, grow the **** up.
