Is anyone else here trying to decipher the meaning behind the collection of songs and videos??


the beginning lyrics in the latest video are

You gave me life
In return i'll just pretend.....
You will watch it burn

It seems like the entire theme is explaining some sick, mentally abusive yet addiciting relationship.... in the first few videos she was being "born", then she was dressed in mud, possibly representing growth from the earth. When she was playing the piano in "b" the tape could very well be a representaiton of someone being trapped, or even a representation of Death via a play on mummification.....


And the latest video can be the "end" of the entire process where she truly is "dead" and merely a muse of her lover. I see it as someone who was lost in life But found happiness and purpose in a relationship that eventually became unhealthy.... hence the lyrics "you gave me life, so i'll just pretend, you will watch it burn" .......

and in the lyrics to "b" she says "resting in the quick sand, shoulder to shoulder, and in hand......wanting higher" ....so maybe as a couple they both are reaching for the ideal "best" while accepting that in reality their only tearing each other apart and slowly sinking.. IRONY??

I just got the first one.

This one is a pretty intriguing video, since is quite short and has no mandrake or number 6 references. The vocals are pretty different from the previous videos, yet beautiful; and the visuals creeped me out the first time I watched them. That hadn't happened with any of the past 8 videos.

I'm a fan, and I think this girl should continue keeping her identity secret. That's the charm of it. Even if you're Jonna Lee, Keep denying it!
