Ultimately, this was an incredible transition and stepping-stone towards her future career despite extremely messy circumstances. I feel like a million possibilities have opened up for her... more than I really expected or could've imagined a few years ago, let alone a few months ago. It's one thing to make great music, but another to have it recognized. There have been many times as a stan where I thought that recognition would never come... seeing it arrive like this in such an organic way is just amazing. I'm not really expecting R9 until late 2018/early 2019 but I pray that she is able to improve and grow as she always does. The music world, and pop culture, are hers for the taking.
Eight grammy nominations, #18 on overall year-end lists, in the top ten for album sales/album streaming/single sales/single streaming, up-and-down the BB year-end chart all during her "FLOP" era. Considering ANTI was a new beginning and major experiment, I can barely wrap my head around it
We've complained about plenty of things this era but all of them are fixable. I just can't help but feel thankful and proud. She really did THAT under the worst possible circumstances
