Anyway the actual nominations for everyone were quite underwhelming ,like since when did the Grammys become so commercial?

I can't remember the last time the Grammy nominations were actually this bad. I mean, it was expected from the rest of the awards shows this year, but the Grammys? Come on. I look forward to those every year and make a big event out of it. If it weren't for Adele being nominated and probably performing, I don't know that I'd be excited about this year's Grammys at all because almost all of the nominees are TERRIBLE. It's amazing how so many artists released music this year and how much of it is garbage.

The fact Justin Bieber is up there in AOTY is just BLEH.

Final Grammy ballots will be sent to voting members on December 14th. They will be due on January 13th. And when you think of that period, Adele does have an ace up her sleeve with poignantly released new single "Water Under the Bridge". That will at least get her voice and name out there to the airwaves. I don't think that those other people will have hits from their nominated albums in that period of time. Looks like JB and Drake have moved on to to their next projects and Beyoncé won't be promoting anyway.
