Not gonna lie but this happened to me about two years ago. I woke up one morning at my sisters apartment and felt this ringing in my ear. I went to school and had to take a test so I thought I just had a headache. I finally went to the school nurse and told her my issue and when she checked my ear she said nothing was wrong. Finally she checked it again because I told her I felt the ringing while she was in another room and she used a microscope and screamed so loud when she seen it moving inside my ear. She basically had to flush it out and and use pliers to remove it. I was so disgusted I never told anyone and till this day the left ear gets pain when I listen to music on my beats. Apparently during winter they try and hide in warm places and I guess my ear was warm while I was sleeping.
