GOT by far. It has some spotty moments, especially in the writing and story (particularly in the past 2 seasons), but it's way more consistent and engrossing. Fargo has spectacular writing, but both of the show's seasons have ended with a bit of whisper and are a bit anti-climactic. Fargo's characters and story arcs also don't hold a candle to GOT's iconic characters and sprawling arcs. One can recognize, however, that the original source material can be credited for this; GOT has that clear advantage. I must applaud Fargo for its masterful writing and amazing performances, though.

Fargo Season One is a masterpiece, but somehow they topped it even more in Season 2. Just incredible work, and they did a great job of keeping it in the world of the film, but creating their own beast.

Martin Freeman, Alison Tolman, Dunst and Woodbine just do incredible work.

Fargo is absolutely stunning. I couldn't get through the first episode of GoT so my opinion is pretty much useless, but Fargo is amazing.

I do agree with dirtypony that it's lowkey unfair to compare GOT to most other television shows, since the source material is a modern classic well before the show was ever even in production. And the writers have definitely dropped the ball at times compared to the books.

I love both series but I have to go with Fargo. It's flawless, both seasons. GoT became a little bit predictable lately but still amazing because of its scale. And the bandwagoning becomes a little cringy.
