I don't know why people are trying. She's been credited as the person that inspired a lot of people to play guitars and dabble into music, she's been at the centrepiece of the talk of streaming, she's been awarded by Country Music Association with a top honour that was only given to Garth Brooks besides her, she's had an distinct style that people immediately associates her with, the whole relationship/breakup/confessional writing, she's been a huge force in music for 10 years now which means she's had an entire generation attached to her music.
I know she isn't a legend yet and that's cause she's super polarising now, and she's still young, pretty, blonde, sings about love and she's still hugely popular and stuffs so it's hard for many to take her seriously. But there's no doubt that once she runs her course and people look back on her career, they're gonna regard her as a legend. She's achieved too much.
