Well, factually, Selena is way worse than Katy Perry. Katy needs to improve her technique, especially her belting that's very unevenly mixed, her laryngeal position, her support, projection and intonation. She could also do with some musical training so her runs/riffs will be less messy and more in tune. Selena, on the other hands, is THE PITS. She's a got a minuscule voice, with almost no projection or support, SERIOUS problems to stay on key, pitchyness throughout, an appaling tonal quality, laughable stamina and no musicality to speak of.

So, I don't really care what you think... Katy Perry is factually BETTER than Selena as a singer. It doesn't get much worse than Selena as a professional singer. Well, maybe Taylor and Britney; but that's a whole different discussion.

That's like comparing an Orange to a Tangerine...there both citrus fruits.

Why did she ever stop to begin with? Even the best of the best singers have to maintain their voice with a coach.
