And My Love Is Your Love still outsold Lemonade many times over. And selling 13 million copies 13 years into a career is far from a flop.

13 million is a massive inflation and music sales peaked in 1999/2000 so of course it would be higher. However, I don't even think Bey surpassed her yet but she definitely surpassed Mariah with her embarrassing tours that all flopped.

look em up yourself. whitneys album peaked at 42 in australia, lemonade #1, #4 in the uk vs lemons #1, #13 in the US vs lemons #1. every country i saw has lemonade on top besides japan (where lemonade didn't have a traditional physical release). And this is without spotify in an age where that determines album chart positions in most countries and lemonade was not on there. It was by far the bigger album and you look out of the times denying that

Anyway, the answer is no. She hasn't surpassed them in music, and she hasn't been able to dominate other forms of entertainment like Whitney was and make an impact there.

Not her fault. It's kinda damn near-impossible for anyone of the newer generation to outdo the old, except in areas where they've been afforded things the others haven't, either through changing technology (social media) and times (stadiums ----> tour gross etc.) or down to the accomplishments of those before them. And the latter only means that those who came before them are also before in status and significance.
