Because Vice is ****.

Although it isn't surprising given they submitted Dirty Laundry (albeit, flawless) over the superior Church Bells for Country Solo.

I actually much prefer the songwriting aspect of the song whereas I HATE some elements of the production. When stripped back (or even in the acapella), the melody and structure really shine. It's kind of a perfect pop song. I think I submitted it for SOTY and not ROTY for that reason.

I guess I forget that the melody is part of the songwriting equation and not the production.
