Welp, we had Wario's fish and now we have Mario after grabbing the new blubber power-up. Slay the thick stache daddy. As far as middle stages go, I think the stache gives him enough identity to keep him in this far, as we know that middle stages are generally early outs. I used her more than Walrein, cus just like Lairon I couldn't be bothered training her that much.
This is also the first appearance of an ice-type pokémon! Slay a bit. Messy how all the ice-types in Hoenn were cordoned off in that one cave... Trump wall teas.
Phresh says that "filler not needed" but concedes she is "still kinda cute". If it was a full-beard he might have even boosted his score to a 4.
Anime icon. Actually, the anime did a lot of work featuring obscure pokémon in the Hoenn saga. Corphish, Cacnea and Chimecho especially I only knew existed cus of that, I don't recall a trainer using any of them in-game.
She is very cute, I love her design. The mouth shape, the diamonds, the arms and especially her crown. I love Cacturne, but she has nothing on that golden crown. Her dancing sprite is adorable too, I'm glad she got such a rise and became one of the highest NFEs. I always want to use one but I usually already have a grass type. And I'm just now realising how much Hoenn grass girls slay.
Phresh loves her but hates her mom, "great potential as a stage 1, AGAIN devolved like so many others". Your commentary devolved. Where are the Pekis now?
