Sleigh Bells returns this year more measured and tepid. While i think in the album it made them lose some of that loveable quirk that made them unique. It at least makes a less grating listen for some. This song specifically could be plucked right out of a pop girls album. Not a bad thing

I really like his vocal performance in this with his scratchy breaking voice. It gives the song a layer of ~authenticity~. It also sounds pseudo-religious which is always fun

I had to upload cuz this album cut is literally unavailable anywhere This song is an angsty wet dream, where Lisa is spiteful at a new woman who has won the eye of the man she wants. The "She's a damn parasite" line bites hard (also like the only line in english so maybe that's why hehe). Great slice of J-rock nontheless

I love that title I Can Only Stare, Gemini Feed, Really Doe and Moth to the Flame Heard a Song was cute, but there were lots of better songs on Bonito Graduation
