The 2016 MacBook Pro had already faced backlash for it's lack of Ports, and new Keyboard (depending on if you like the Butterfly Keyboard), but more and more issues are occurring for the new MacBook Pro. Some Examples are:
- If you install Windows on your MacBook Pro using Bootcamp, both Speakers have a chance at blowing up. Apple claim they have fixed the issue, but not everyone will update their Mac's straight away, and will wait until they've finalised the set up and can leave it to sit.
- The GPU becomes faulty when switching between integrated to dedicated graphics, after the internals get warm. Several users have reported issues.
- The Touchbar UI will malfunction, and appear on the screen, controllable via Touchpad. The Touchbar appears blank.
But the biggest concern (if these aren't big already), is the battery life is DISMAL.
Apple claim 10 hours battery life, but a lot of people are finding the battery draining after 3 - 6 hours of internet browsing. 9to5Mac found a majority of users were seeing 3 - 6 hours of Battery Life, compared to the promised 10 hours.
In comparison, the MacBook Air 13" (which the non-touchbar MacBook Pro is supposed to replace) gets 12 - 15 hours on a single charge. The MacBook Pro 2015 was also advertised as "10 Hours" but most people got more than that for average usage.
Apple are already replacing faulty units with most of the issues listed above. But due to poor battery life, it's speculated there may be an optional recall available, if people are unhappy with the battery life. As the source says below, Apple can face legal action as the battery is severely false advertised (unless it's a manufacturing issue).

So is thinness worth all this? Sure, it looks great. But my 17" MacBook Pro (late 2011) still lasts me 7 hours minimum on average use.
What's the point in making something more portable if it needs to be plugged in???
A Pro computer is never going to be Ultra Portable.
The 2015 MacBook Pro & Air's are still much better than the new USB-C MacBook's and MacBook Pro's/
