I do.

Things seemed to be more simple, and less fast-paced. Not to mention pop culture felt more upbeat and classic as it does now. Sure there were some bad moments, like 9/11 and Katrina, but there were some great moments like the golden age of teen pop, vintage Kanye, and messy yet loveable reality TV. The popgirls were ambitious and talented (Bey,MC,Xtina,P!nk). Kanye was sane and POC skated the charts. In addition, romcom movies slayed the box office, and things were less serious overall.
The world also seemed less distracted by cell phones and social media. Families still played board games, and kids played outside. Although I enjoy the music and technology of today, there was just a certain charm about those days that I feel hadn't been seen in any other generation. I miss it.
