They've often said repeatedly they know stuff, and it never ends up being right, the amount of times they said new music was coming etc and then they were wrong and nothing came was endless.
And this can't all be blamed on gaga's team suddenly changing their minds. Sure sometimes that could be the case but not every time.
So yeah, take this with a grain of salt - if it's true then that's great, but let's not get excited for nothing.

Emma has direct contact with gaga only I think, Emma was active GGD mod before but isn't anymore, however admin is probably still in contact with her so he can forward messages to Gaga, but yeah I agree with you. She doesn't usually give them any info
