The scare rhetoric is unbelievable, i saw this headline in the store today and im shocked that this is how our country is right now. How are Mexican people ‘invading’ the US when they are the people who are actually indigenous to this land and have called it home since the beginning of their time? Isnt it white people who are the invaders considering they came to this peaceful land and wiped out the majority of indigenous people and ruined the land for their own profit? The US/Mexican border is just an imaginary construct by the US government... Mexican people should have to the right to migrate on their own damn continent to where the better opportunities are. Its crazy how europeans invaded north america and then flipped the switch on native groups like Mexicans, alienating them as some foreign group that white americans should be afraid of, acting like they dont have rights to their own land.
People act like Donald doesn't LOVE using illegal immigrants for cheap labor. Let's be real. If they really did stop coming to America, we'd be ****ed.
Remember that these same people saying "build a wall" will still be unemployed by 2020. What jobs are Mexicans stealing, exactly?
I agree they're not invading the US but you're confusing Mexicans with indigenous people. Mexicans are a mix of indigenous and Spanish so it's not like Mexicans are fully native to the land.
Yes with the indigenous awareness some ignorant Americans like to believe that indigenous people don't exist in the Americas outside of the U.S. & Canada. People have no idea how hard it is for the indigenous communities south of the U.S. border and think they only come to the U.S. to steal Americans jobs and be lazy which in itself is contradicting, it's sick but that's racist people for you.

Well to be technical, a lot of Native Americans, maybe even a majority, are mixed themselves and not full bloods. Some even being predominantly European.
A lot of White Americans are unaware of Mexican people being mixed, if they see a brown person speaking Spanish they automatically perceive them as foreign or ‘illegal’
either way, the US has given a really bad rep to central americans and endlessly try to alienate them from their own land

If they're predominantly European they're not Native American A few maybe are culturally but that number must be very small.
The overwhelming majority of Mexicans/Central Americans and Andeans are Native. Some Europeans in the American continent are always trying to erase native americans' identity. If a Native has even 1% euro blood they wanna call him mixed but a black person can literally have a white parent and still be black.
Most illegal immigration nowadays comes from Central America not Mexico. And I don't blame those people--sometimes children by themselves ride thousands of miles to get here--for wanting to get out of places that are not only barren economically but also plagued by violence. The gangs of El Salvador and Honduras make it impossible to live there.

Legally yes they are, have you ever been to a reservation? A lot of them are mix bloods and for many you only need to be 1/4 to enroll into a tribe, some can qualify being as low as 1/8 if their tribe allows it. Bill John Baker is an enrolled native and he's like 1/32.

I'm from Panama and I've never feel any type of rejection by americans, even when I say "I'm from Panama" and they say... oh that's awesome... or some comment differently to people who mention they are from mexico, guatemala, honduras etc
