Is that worth it? Today Target has 15% off of everything in the store.
Plus 10% team discount. Plus 5% Redcard.
That's a whopping 30% off. I don't know if I could pass on that deal. Over $100 off. It's not likely to get any cheaper than that, correct, by Christmas?
Plus this video makes it look so cool. I'm a few seconds away from getting in my car and taking ahold of this glorious deal. I'm a huge Resident Evil advocate. If the 7th game utilizes this system pretty efficiently I'll think it's worth it. Plus I'm sure more games will come out down the road. Ugh!
Thoughts? I need like at least 10 replies to decide if I should do this! So what would you do?
I have it and yes it's worth it. There aren't many good games yet but some of them are cute like the PS VR Room, Windlands (it's boring but the VR experience is amazing. It feels like you're really jumping), Batman (it's short but super cool. The graphic is a little bit blurry tho but it still looks cool), RS7 Demo, Thumper and Bound.

Is the bulky headset comfortable though? It looks like it'll give you a headache. When I first bought a 3D tv they came out with battery operated glasses that were too tight and it was highly uncomfortable.
The newer generation are like the ones in theater so it's cool and don't hurt. Very light.

The headset is comfortable, I didn't have any problems with it. Make sure you do the eye distance calibration in the settings. It makes the graphics better.

Another question. Do you need to directly be facing your TV? My bed is a few feet away from my TV. Which begins to cause a problem. Since you aren't viewing your TV can you be at an angle with the camera and it works the same?
I can't necessarily be in front my TV unless I'm on my bed...which won't work prob?

I'm not sure I'm 2-3 meters away from my camera. I look directly at the camera.
Did you go yet? I have the Samsung gear VR and it's amazeballs. This looks even better. I'm personally gonna wait until more games come out, and more of the potential of VR is utilized before I make an investment, but for you it's likely that when those advancements are made, they'll be for PSVR. So this is probs ur best bet
I got it! The Target 30 minutes away had one in stock (there was only 3 left in a 100 mile radius!), but it wasn't the bundle. I could buy it all separately for $560 which was $60 more than the $499.99 bundle. I negotiated with them and said since it was out of stock everywhere, it's not really fair to spend more for what's in the bundle and if I could match it with that price.
THEY APPROVED IT.
I got it for $375. Although I'm not 100% sure what's in the bundle, but I got the VR, camera and two controllers.
Anyone confirm what's different that's in the bundle? I feel like I got an extra controller in this deal.
Now secondly I just took it out. How do you adjust the head band? It's way too tight and awkwardly fits on my head! >.<
