Well, if you find Music Box' 8m European sales to be something laughable then so be it. If you think that anybody can sell 1,050,000 copies of their album in one week in Japan, then again, laugh until your face gets red. If you think that having the overall best selling christmas album and a modern christmas song which has reached cultural canon status, then wiggle your head like you're listening to white noise.

I know that those aren't Adele numbers, but again Mariah Carey has 9 albums being certified 4xP in the United States (on pure sales). One of those has sold almost 4 million copies in Japan alone. (Not everybody has that).

That seasonal artist has the 29th best charting song on Itunes worldwide right now. I'm not crying over this, but I can understand all the pressed and dense faces. If I would be XY I would feel threatened too.
