IN A DIFFERENT CLASS Adele heading back to her old school after world tour to teach next generation of stars
The BRIT school said she’d be welcomed back as a temporary teacher 'with open arms'
WHEN it comes to belting out power ballads ADELE is the master.
But now she is heading to the classroom to share her wisdom — by teaching music to students.
The Tottenham-born diva has told aides she wants to help youngsters with singing and songwriting at the BRIT School, where she studied alongside JESSIE J and LEONA LEWIS.
A school spokeswoman said she’d be welcomed back as a temporary teacher “with open arms”. Our source said: “Adele is grateful for the success she’s had and has been talking a lot about her beginnings while on tour.
“Tony Castro, who was head of music at the BRIT School, is someone she feels particularly grateful to because he made students write their own songs.
“And talking about how teachers influenced her has made her think more seriously about teaching herself.
“Once she has recovered from the tour, she would love to teach a few classes.”
Our source added: “Adele’s decision to take time off to concentrate on her family will make it far easier for her to fit in a few teaching classes.
“But her team are doing their best to keep the plan quiet. They don’t want the school overrun with fans desperate for a glimpse of her.”
Leona Lewis, Emeli Sande, Sam Smith etc. better be in attendance.
Leona was a student at the BRIT School at the same time as Adele was (I think), so we can count her out haha. She's been there, done it, got the T shirt.
