They have no problem showing Kacey Musgraves or somebody winning an award

The last time Kacey Musgraves won a Grammy she was competing in the same categories as Taylor Swift. It's commercial television and they want to sell advertising. I suspect it was Taylor bringing in the viewers more than Kacey.

Wait that is a good point about Kacey. And she happened to win over Taylor anyway.

They will show one of the R&B categories next year for sure. The Rap category too, especially if Drake is there.

In 2015 they didn't air any of the Rap categories because the winners (Eminem and Kendrick Lamar) weren't there. Eminem won 2 for the Marshall Mathers LP II and The Monster and Kendrick got 2 for "i".

Racism
