Madonna had Blond Ambition, Vogue, The Immaculate Collection, Evita, Ray Of Light and side projects like This Used to Be My Playground, I'll Remember, Beautiful Stranger were all global smash hits. Madonna's career was bigger than Janet in the 90's. She was only behind Whitney, Mariah and Celine.
BA/Vogue/The Immaculate Collection was more successful and influential than janet.
