Also, it depends what you mean by being 'against gay rights'. I know plenty of reasonable people who have nothing against gay people but oppose gay marriage for religious or family reasons. I don't consider them to be homophobes, so long as they support a civil alternative to gay marriage which gives gay couples the same legal protections as heterosexual marriage does.
Outing someone because they are a conservative who isn't completely on board with gay marriage and is therefore a 'homophobe' doesn't sit right with me.
He may be average but the fact that he's a rich, powerful politician that actually doesn't look like a disgusting mess for once adds at least another 5-6 points to his score. Plus he has a cute, endearing demeanor about him. You don't have to look like Chris Hemsworth when you are rich and powerful.
